##### High performance buffer for Freight

The Category A freight wagon buffer features a highly robust housing combined with a reinforced sleeve incorporating a solid collar at the open end. Its compact spring design enables a high sleeve wall thickness, enhancing overall stability and durability.

The high stiffness of the sleeve and plunger minimizes internal friction losses, significantly reducing compressive forces during operation. Both variants(30 kJ and 40 kJ)combine high energy absorption with low compressive forces, delivering speed-dependent energy absorption and a progressive characteristic.

Equipped with a maintenance-free polymer spring and a lifetime-optimized anti-rotation device, the buffer ensures reliable operation while reducing failure rates and minimizing maintenance requirements.

Category C, L and 1g buffers combine high dynamic energy absorption with excellent damping characteristics to reduce harmful force and acceleration peaks during operation. The specialized 1g buffer is particularly suited for the transport of sensitive and dangerous goods, limiting vehicle acceleration to a maximum of 1g while keeping impact forces under control.
